v0.2.0

Simpler priorities, clearer next steps

Based on early feedback, we've made some important changes to how KeywordRise helps you prioritize keywords.

Single-tier priority system

The previous two-tier labeling system (P1A, P1B, P2A, P2B) created unnecessary cognitive load when reviewing hundreds of keywords. We've simplified this to a single priority dimension with three clear levels:

P1 — Quick wins Long-tail keywords with low difficulty (KD) and high business relevance. These are your best opportunities for ranking, especially valuable for newer sites without extensive backlink profiles. We filter for stable search volume over the last 6 months to ensure you're targeting genuine demand, not temporary spikes.

P2 — Authority building Similar strategy to P1, but allows higher keyword difficulty. While these may not rank in the top 10 immediately, they help build topical authority and trustworthiness, which strengthens your site's ability to rank for other content over time.

P3 — Low priority Keywords that don't meet our criteria for either quick wins or authority building. We recommend focusing your efforts elsewhere.

This single-tier approach makes it easier to scan your keyword list and understand what to prioritize at a glance.

UI redesign: Light theme

We've redesigned the interface from dark to light theme based on user feedback. While dark themes are popular and visually appealing, light themes provide better readability for data-heavy interfaces where you're scanning tables and analyzing keyword metrics.

We may introduce a dark mode toggle in future updates, but for now we're prioritizing readability and scannability.

v0.1.0

Thanks for checking out KeywordRise!

Hey everyone! 👋 I've been building KeywordRise, and v0.1.0 is officially live today. Super excited to finally hit the "ship" button.

What's the deal with KeywordRise?

Most keyword tools give you a spreadsheet: volume, KD, CPC… then you're left alone to figure out what to do and what to write.

That part always took hours for me — skimming through keywords, opening a tons of SERP tabs. So I built KeywordRise to turn keyword data into a clear next-step plan.

How to use it

Paste your business URL → run research → get:

  • Keyword Universe: keyword list + the common metrics (SV, CPC, KD, etc) + keyword trend + business relevance (Whether the keyword is relevant to your business)
  • Plan: what to do now / next / later
  • P1 deep dives: SERP intent, winner patterns, gaps, and what content/page type to build

Pricing (simple)

It's pay-as-you-go — you pay per research run. No monthly subscription when you're not using it.

What's in this version

  • ✅ URL-based business understanding
  • ✅ Keyword discovery (from real keyword data, not just AI guessing)
  • ✅ AI categorization + prioritization into a plan
  • ✅ P1 keyword SERP analysis + content recommendations
  • ✅ A basic planning view (timeline is still early!)

If you've had the same pain with keyword tools, give KeywordRise a try. It's built for that moment when you want direction — not another spreadsheet.
